The Trust’s most significant recent project has been the establishment of the English Secondary Students’ Association (ESSA). ESSA aims to be the representative body for secondary students in England. Run by and for secondary school students, it will demonstrate to students that their views on education are important and that, as stated in Article 12 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, they have the “right to express those views freely in all matters affecting” them.
