International Democratic Education Conference and Network
Phoenix supports the annual International Democratic Education Conference (IDEC) and the International Democratic Education Network (IDEN). IDECs take place in a different country each year (in 2006 the conference was held in Sydney, Australia). The conference provides an opportunity for students and educators from around the world to get together to discuss the ways in which their schools and countries are working towards the delivery of democratic education.
