From September 2008, ESSA will need a new Student Support Officer!
Are you taking a Gap Year between school and University? Do you fancy earning some money, getting amazing work experience and making a network of contacts in London? ESSA's Student Support Officer post could be for you!
The SSO is at the heart of ESSA. It is traditionally a post filled by a Gap Year student so that the person responsible for organising the Council and representing the organisation is as young as legally possible! This post involves being ESSA's central point of communication; supporting the ESSA Council and individual members; drafting press releases; website management; raising the public profile of ESSA; and much more!
Position: ESSA Student Support Officer
Duration of contract: Minimum 6 months (September 08-February 09)
Rate of pay:£11,128 pro rata
Hours of work: 9-5pm Monday to Friday with occasional unsocial hours by prior arrangement
