The Phoenix Education Trust believes that the student should be at the heart of education, the trust supports student voice at all levels.  It is about more than a good school council and what is happening within schools and communities, it is about student having a say when it comes to policy and all the issues which surround education.

Student Voice (formally the English Secondary Student's Association, ESSA) is a membership organisation run by students for students.  It is working to become a representative body for secondary school students throughout the UK.  Student Voice runs consultations and campaigns along with hosting events and sending young speakers to the places where issues about education are being discussed and decided upon.

The Trust provides financial and in kind support to help Student Voice run, get connected and develop to become independent and successful.
